Scooters

How can I choose a freestyle scooter?

Choosing a complete scooter can be challenging, especially since there’s no ideal height. Before we give you a half-baked answer, we suggest you check out our buyers guide on scooter completes HERE.

How can I know what scooter parts fits together?

That’s another challenging one. You can always refer to our specifications and compatibility tabs on most products. The information written there should provide you with the necessary insights. Additionally, you can check our compression system blog for more detailed information, as most compatibility issues originate from there.

Can you cut scooter decks?

Yes we can. No we wont. But if you’re really in a pinch and need assistance, we might be able to help. Reach out to us and we’ll get back to you.

What are custom scooters?

Custom scooters, which we meticulously craft in our shop, are unique and cannot be found anywhere else. Since they are not manufactured, they may have some imperfections.

Skateboards

How do I know the good size of trucks for my skateboard deck?

Every brand measures their trucks the way they want, making it challenging to find the right size. However, you can always refer to our size chart on every truck product page to find the perfect fit. The golden rule is to ensure that the length of your axle is the same as your deck, plus or minus 0.25 inches top.

How can I choose a good skateboard for children?

We usually recommend getting a complete skateboard designed for young people because they’re typically shorter, have softer bushings and wheels. However, since young people are usually just learning the basics of stability and rolling, it’s still a better idea to get a good, real skateboard instead of a cheap imitation from a supermarket, even if it’s not youth specific.

What’s the best size of skateboard decks?

Is there an ideal size to start with? In the 90s, we all skated 7.75 inches, but now 8.25 inches is the most popular size. In short, try them on to find your preferred size.

BMX

Why do you have so few BMX parts at your shop?

Unfortunately, even though we started as a BMX shop and are located inside the largest indoor skatepark in Canada, we follow the trends of riders who visit the park. Currently, BMX riders are relatively few. However, we remain dedicated to providing the best possible service and are always accessible via our website to assist you with any requests or to help you order something tailored to your needs. So don’t hesitate to reach out if you require any assistance.

If I want other BMX parts, can I order with you?

Yes! Since we have limited BMX inventory in stock, we frequently need to place orders. By maintaining a low inventory, we can actually order what you need more quickly! Just reach out to us

Onewheels

Do you repair Onewheels?

No, we don’t. For warranty-related inquiries, Future Motion (Onewheel) has chosen to handle all repair-related matters internally. You can directly contact them for more information. If you’re in need of assistance with them, we might be able to help. Simply reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Is it possible to test a OneWheel before making a purchase?

Yes, we always put you on one before a purchase to ensure you like it and provide a crash course. If you’re serious about testing it, we even rent Onewheels. If you purchase one during the next month of your rental, we’ll refund the amount associated with your rental on your purchase.

Why can I only rent a Onewheel for 2 hours or 1 day?

We rent it for two hours because we believe you need at least two hours to have fun and make the most of your trip. As for the one-day rental, it’s intended for you to take the Onewheel home and ride it for at least a day. If you require it for an extended period, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Why do you not take care of Onewheel warranties?

Future Motion (Onewheel) has retained the warranties for insurance reasons, if not mistaken. One thing is certain: they only want the Onewheel owner to handle any warranty-related issues. We understand that this might be inconvenient for some clients, so if you encounter any problems with them, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

Do you finance Onewheels?

We don’t offer financing directly, but we do provide financing options through Afterpay and Affirm. Each platform has its own unique features and maximum credit limits. So, take some time to explore them and see which one best suits your needs.
