* Why is there an extra fee for titanium? Because it is a metal that is way harder to work with. It requires more time, efforts and experience.
Titanium is a type of metal that is often sought after because it is extremely lightweight while retaining strength. It's said that Titanium is as light as aluminum but strong as chromoly. While this statement is close, that's not the case. Titanium is strong so it is able to use thinner wall tubing, so for the same strength, you can use thinner walled tubing. We've decided to pursue Titanium and utilize it for our Classic T bars. The strength is an attribute we couldn't waiver on so we tested different alloys and talked with many in and out of industry professionals to select the Grade 9 Titanium we use for these bars. We are committed to strength, this is also why we opted to have .083" thick crossbar made special for this application. We did our research and brought out a high end Titanium T bar that's destined to preform amazing. These bars come in at an astonishing 1 pound 13 ounces at 24" wide and 28" high.
