Here's what we have to say about the new Oath Binary wheels and Carcass clamps!

We know these products have already been on the market for a while but, not enough limelight was given to those unique, beautifully crafted parts.

Oath Components Binary wheels

The Oath Components Binary wheels in 110mm for freestyle scooters have a one of a kind wheel core that is perfectly machined.

Those wheels are one of a kind, that's for sure!

They come in 2 sizes to fit your riding style: 110mm x 24mm for the park oriented riders and 115mm x 30mm for the street riders enjoying light set-ups.

Both sizes are coming with Oath's proven 88a pu and with their Abec 9 high fidelity bearings. Those wheels also have a recessed core that allows for a deeper urethane. That deeper urethane gives you a plusher cushioned feel while maintaining good lateral rigidity because of the higher core.

The core of the wheel is perfectly CNC machined from 2 different parts and are double painted to put accent on the details that Oath worked hard to do.

Oath Components Carcass Double Clamps

The Oath Components Carcass Clamps comes in double clamp for IHC, HIC and ICS compression systems and in SCS. Beautifully crafted and ready to shred on your freestyle scooter set-up. Available at Versus Proshop and QC Scooters

At first sight, those clamp looks quite similar to the old Ethic DTC Sylphe clamp (now discontinued), but the pictures wont give you the full potential of that clamp.
The design of the clamp suggest a super thin, light clamp like the Sylphe, but on the contrary, Oath decided to use a similar design to cut of weight to a maximum where it's not needed while keeping the rest buffed-up, resulting in what could be the best strength to weight ratio HIC/IHC clamp out there!

Look wise, it is simply beautiful! That 2 tone giving accent to the detailed machining will add just enough color for a good OUMF without too much clashing. And if that  wasn't enough, Oath added to that the matching m8 bolts!

Oath Components Carcass SCS

The Oath Components Carcass Clamps comes in double clamp for IHC, HIC and ICS compression systems and in SCS. Beautifully crafted and ready to shred on your freestyle scooter set-up. Available at Versus Proshop and QC Scooters

"Will the cut-outs weaken my set-up? Because I'm a heavy street rider"  NO!

Oath applied the same idea to the SCS clamp as they did on the double clamp. Keep the areas needing strength really thick and completely cut material where it's not needed. Adding to that the fact that this clamp has a full length of 3.54", where most of the SCS on the market stands at 3" and you get more rigidity, solidity and clamping.

Like the double clamp, you'll get the nice 2 tone, matching M8 bolts and all that jazz! It will pair perfectly with the 115mm x 30mm version of the Binary wheels ;)

To summarize,

In an over-saturated market for scooter parts, Oath Components was able to come up with something new, not revolutionising the scooter world, but with enough differences from the other manufacturers to make the Binary wheels and the Carcass clamp noteworthy. Those parts are strong, light and stylish AF.

Until next time

Cheers
